Direct travel insurance.
’ We have used this company since 2004. I found this company by Internet when looking for some cheap travel insurance. Their services looked really affordable at that time and since then we did not change it, cause always were satisfied with the quotes. During our first holiday with this company my brother got ill and and had to stay in the hospital, though we had only one day left till the flight. He contacted the company from Italy, and got instruction how to proceed. On his back home we sent claimed for refund and the company very quickly refunded all the expenses!
Another year we were very surprised that despite the claim the policy did not increase in price, and so every year as you know prices grow their prices didn’t change at all. This year again we had to claim because of small bad case in the pool, and again we got all the expenses refunded in time.
Next year cost increased but I do not think that this was because of our claims in the previous years, increase was very low, and I think the reason is inflation.
I must confess, recently I have checked prices of other companies just to see if the prices go down but didn’t see much changes and think direct travel is still affordable. Well, even if I find cheaper company I am not that type of a person who will risk just for some dollars difference. I think that if you are lucky to find a good company once, it is not a good idea to look for another, cheaper company, cause as I saw in Internet there are really too many bad reviews, and people who lost a lot of money.
I do not say, go and buy direct travel insurance. I just say that, if you are happy with your company, do not change it, a cheaper one can be worse.’
